WOMAN OF FLOWERS, Theatr Pena’s first co-production with Taliesin Arts Centre, toured Wales in spring 2018

This short but epic drama by the award-winning Welsh dramatist Siôn Eirian is based on the Mabinogi myth of Blodeuwedd and inspired by the classic 1948 verse drama “Blodeuwedd” by Saunders Lewis.

In his reimagining of the ancient myth of the woman made from flowers, Siôn Eirian has skilfully crafted his own English language poetic drama around Saunders Lewis’s most famous and iconic speeches.

“A masterpiece” Sioned Williams (Dewi Llwyd ar Fore Sul, Radio Cymru).

“Woman of Flowers” is published alongside “The Royal Bed”, Sion Eirian’s English language adaptation of “Siwan” by Saunders Lewis, by Atebol
